Local ECO Networks to Connect with
12 Local ECO Networks have been formed and are meeting on a regular basis to collaborate and coordiante efforts to provide education, communication and outreach on environmental issues for their area. New members interested in getting involved are encouraged to contact the local
ECO Net coordinator.

Can I join?

If you answer “yes” to the following three questions you should definitely join ECO Net!

  1. Are you affiliated with an organization/school that is involved with education or outreach
    of environmental themes in Puget Sound?
  2. Are you a teacher, program coordinator, volunteer, or other staff person involved with
    providing education or outreach in Puget Sound?
  3. Do you want to work with others towards saving Puget Sound by improving and
    increasing the coordination, communication, and partnering between education and
    outreach providers in Puget Sound?
How do I join?

Fill out the “Join ECO Net” form and wait for confirmation.

What are the benefits?
  • Access to a database/network of other education and outreach providers in Puget Sound
  • Your organization will have the option to be included in a search engine for volunteer and
    education opportunities by the public on the Partnership’s website
  • Receive updates, information, and resources directly from the Puget Sound Partnership on Action Agenda progress
  • Be a part of the ECO Net Summit and following “Coordination Days” around the Sound in early 2009
  • As an ECO Net member you will have access to our members-only Flickr group ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/econet/) and discussion boards. A collection of photographs and videos provided by members for members. Flickr images from the ECO Net group can be used for presentations, newsletters, brochures and other educational materials to aid in the preservation and recovery of Puget Sound.
