Puget Sound Partnerships Science Panel will meet Dec. 11-12 in Edmonds

Science Policy Workshop will include adaptive management, work plan, Action Agenda

The Puget Sound Partnership’s Science Panel will meet Tuesday, Dec. 11, and Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Edmonds City Hall, 3rd floor Brackett Room, 121 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds.
 
Day 1: Regular Science Panel meeting
Tuesday, Dec. 11, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meeting topic highlights include:

  • Peer review of Biennial Science Work Plan update
  • Biennial Science Work Plan priority science actions review
  • Timing and science engagement for Action Agenda updates
  • Lead Organization updates on Action Agenda work plans

 
Day 2: Science Policy Workshop
Wednesday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Discussion topics include:

  • Meshing science and policy processes to the Action Agenda
  • Plans for updating the ecosystem indicators
  • Options for supporting and integrating monitoring into ecosystem recovery

 
The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to address questions or comments about the regional effort to restore and protect Puget Sound.
