Puget Sound Partnership's Science Panel will meet Oct. 1-2 in Mount Vernon

The Puget Sound Partnership’s Science Panel will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Padilla Bay National Research Reserve in Mount Vernon.

The Science Panel includes some of the top scientists in the state and advises the Partnership’s efforts to develop a science-based comprehensive plan to restore Puget Sound.

Agenda highlights include:
·        Discussion on updating the Biennial Science Work Plan.
·        Finalization of the Puget Sound Pressure Assessment methodology.
·        Review of 2013 State of the Sound draft document and finalization of the Science Panel’s portion to include in the final report.  
·        Discussion of the Science Panel’s role in the upcoming update to the Puget Sound Action Agenda.
