Leadership Council holds regular meeting Nov. 9-10
The Leadership Council of the Puget Sound Partnership will hold its regular meeting Nov. 9-10 at Stone Manor,
The agenda includes:
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Nov. 9
· A presentation on the Aquatics Habitat Conservation Plan by Doug Sutherland, Commissioner of Public Lands.
· Discussion of Washington Department of Ecology’s role in the Puget Sound Partnership’s Action Agenda.
· Briefing and discussion on the integration of the Salmon Recovery Plan into the Puget Sound Partnership.
· A panel on the Conservation Commission Conservation Districts.
9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. | Nov. 10
· Review of the Partnership budget.
· Briefing on the role of the Ecosystem Coordination Board. (Learn more about the Board and the membership at: www.psp.wa.gov/ecosystemboard)
· Discussion about establishing a non profit entity.
· A briefing on the Puget Sound Nearshore Partnership by Tim Smith, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
· An overview of, and appointments to, the Science Panel.
The Leadership Council will recess for an executive session at 1:45 p.m., Nov. 10 to discuss candidates for the Science Panel. The appointments to the Science Panel will be made following the executive session during the regular public meeting.
